You Might Be Able to Stop Paying for Calendly or SquareSpace Scheduling!
If you’re like most people, you use Google Calendar for EVERYTHING. And you should. And until now, anyone who wants to streamline appointment setting has had to use a third-party paid tool like Calendly or SquareSpace Scheduling (formerly Acuity.)
Things have changed. Google’s been trying to launch appointment scheduling for about a year, but the early versions were clunky and unpolished. Well now, Google’s done it. Their scheduling feature has been completely revamped. If you have a free Google Workspace account, or Business Starter, you won’t have this feature. But if you have Business Standard, Business Plus, or Enterprise, you already have access to this feature as part of your subscription fee. Or, to put it another way, if you pay $12 or more for your subscription, you’re good to go!
Currently, I pay $15 per month for SquareSpace Scheduling, which is the system you use when you book work sessions on my website. If I upgrade from Google Business Starter to Google Business Standard, I’ll pay $7 more.

Here are some things I’ve done with Chat GPT:
- Confirmed that I’m still correctly backing up WordPress websites
- Generated ideas for social media posts
- Requested wine pairing suggestions for the Instagram-famous Feta Tomato Pasta Bake (the top answer is a dry rosé)
I hope that each new tool is useful and fun to use. Let me know anytime you learn about another cool new tool!
