Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) models like Klarna and Afterpay are gaining popularity, especially among Gen Z. If you offer big-ticket goods or services, maybe you should you consider offering this payment model. From 2022 to 2027, BNPL users are expected to increase from 360 million to 900 million.
Customers who are 55+ do not tend to use BNPL services, while younger male shoppers are slightly more likely to use a BNPL service.
Social Media Video Lengths and Trends
Posting frequency on YouTube channels has increased significantly. For accounts with 0-500 followers, the average is 3.49 posts per week. For 500-2,000 followers, it’s 12.31 posts per week! However, interactions are down, so focusing on quality content is key.
The ideal video length for LinkedIn is 14 seconds, regardless of account size.
10% of Gen Z chooses TikTok over Google as their go-to search engine. And 49% of millennials, 29% of Gen X, and 14% of Baby boomers also say they’ve used TikTok as a search engine. This is from a new report from Adobe. 62% of users say video tutorials are their preferred content. I’d heard about this trend over a year ago and it seemed crazy to me. But now Google Search results are so heavily influenced by affiliate marketers posing as experts, it’s a pain to figure out who’s legit. Whereas if I can find ten organic-looking videos on TikTok of non-sponsored, not-eligible-for-commission videos raving about, say, the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse (the best mouse in the world, IMO), then that’s pretty convincing to me.
Improving Blog Visibility on Google
Here’s how to check if your website is indexed in Google. If your page isn’t indexed, it will never show up in search results.
1. Go to Google, type in site:yourdomain like in this video. Press enter.
2. If any links are missing from the results, that page is not indexed.
3. Go to Google Search Console. Click on URL inspection. Paste the link in. If it says URL is unknown to Google, click request indexing.
Additionally when writing blogs, try to use the keywords that you want to be known for.
